Barre is a fitness based workout, derived from a classical ballet barre one would experience in a typical ballet class. Barre helps to create those long, lean muscles typical of dancers through low-impact, isometric movements designed to fatigue your muscles. No ballet or dance experience is necessary for barre. Bare feet or grip socks are suggested as well as comfortable clothing to move in. All levels welcome.

The chakras are the seven major energy centers in the body in which our energy flows through. Blocked energy in our chakras can often lead to illness and dis-ease. In this 8-week series, we will guide you through a series of asanas (yoga postures) specific to the chakra we are focusing on and incorporate aromatherapy in the form of essential oils which correspond to balancing these energy centers. We will progress through the series from foundational postures in week 1 to more challenging postures at the end of the series. New students, please start within the first few weeks of the series. It is not recommended to start Chakra Flow during weeks 6 or 7. Please visit our daily social media posts or the Class Schedule description for the weekly chakra schedule. Discover the chakras and aromayoga as you open your body, mind and spirit. Standard props include 2 blocks, 1 strap and 1 blanket.

Melt away the stress and tension from a busy week with a peaceful, gentle practice. Students will enter a room illuminated in candlelight and move through a series of postures designed to allow body and mind to unwind from the week’s activities.

(Offered November through March)

Mindful Flow will offer a creative flow involving sun salutations, standing and seated postures, back bending, balancing poses, and a strong focus on the power of breath awareness. All classes aim to emphasize the importance of breath and mindfulness, with most classes ending with a guided meditation or extended Savasana to enhance going inward.

Sunrise Vinyasa is an early morning class designed to give you a healthy start to your week and a jump start to your day! Through Vinyasa yoga, we link our movements to our breath. This class will sequence you through both traditional and variations of Sun Salutation sequences designed to energize the chakras and leave you feeling strong, energized and refreshed. All levels are welcome, however, it is helpful to have a basic understanding of yogic breath and some poses.
*Pre-registration is required by 9PM the evening prior.

This class will sequence you through both traditional and variations of Sun Salutation sequences as we link our movements to our breath. We will energize the chakras, strengthen the body and refresh the mind. An easier level of flow class, yet still a strong practice. A good bridge between Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow classes. Variations are offered to invite a gentle approach to this practice as well as opportunities to deepen within your own practice. All levels welcome. Standard props include 2 blocks, 1 strap and 1 blanket.

Prana is a Sanskrit word for “life force energy”; the energy that exists in the body.  To rejuvenate, move, or relax this energy we use “pranayama”, or “breathwork”.
In yoga, pranayama is one of the eight limbs, or foundations, of yoga, as is asana (physical practice).
In this class we will move through physical practice, asana, while also incorporating pranayama, breathwork.
Props are always encouraged to allow proper alignment of the postures and proper breath to flow!  We will sometimes use 2 blocks, a strap, and/or a blanket.

Vinyasa is a Sanskrit word meaning “flow”. Nyasa denotes “to place” and vi denotes “in a special way.” Through Vinyasa yoga, we link our movements to our breath. This class will sequence you through both traditional and variations of Sun Salutation sequences designed to energize the chakras and leave you feeling strong, energized and refreshed. All levels are welcome except for true beginners. It is preferable to have a foundational practice before joining Vinyasa. Standard props include 2 blocks, 1 strap and 1 blanket.

Yin Yoga is sometimes described as “acupuncture without the needles” for its ability to help balance “chi” or life force energy in the body. We practice postures that target the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, spine, hamstrings, and thighs. These poses are practiced on the floor for 3-5 minutes each in order to stretch through the muscles and into the ligaments, bones and joints. We’re going deep, yet we remain still. Essential oils are often offered as part of this class to enhance the full mind, body and spirit experience. We will end our practice with a blissful guided meditation. All levels welcome. Standard props include 2 blocks, 1 strap, 1-2 blankets and a bolster.

The Best of Both Worlds! Balance the intense quiet practice of Yin with the more energetic components of a Yang or Vinyasa practice. Yin postures target the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, spine, hamstrings, and thighs. These poses are practiced on the floor for 3-5 minutes each in order to stretch through the muscles and into the ligaments, bones and joints to maintain length and strength. We will then transition into the Yang portion of the class where will move through variations of Sun Salutations and sequences designed to energize the body leaving you feeling strong, invigorated and refreshed. All levels welcome. Standard props include 2 blocks, 1 strap and 1 blanket.

A fusion of Yin and Restorative yoga. Yin floor poses will be offered with a variety of props and the class will end with traditional Restorative poses to deeply relax and renew. All levels welcome. Standard props include 2 blocks, 1 strap, 1-2 blankets and a bolster.
