“I had the pleasure of going through the Yoga NH Teacher Training Program hosted by Banyan Tree Yoga last fall. My goal for this training was to gain knowledge so I could expand my personal practice. I can’t say enough about the training lead by Brandy Hill. Her guidance, expertise, and patience made me feel like no matter what I needed during the training, I had her support. I began training fearful of teaching in a public setting but by the end of the program, I was confidently leading my own class. This program is full of in-depth reading and verbal guidance of the anatomy of the body, the breakdown of the asana poses, and the ethical guidelines of the Yamas and Niyamas (the foundation of yoga). I can’t recommend this program enough.”

“I entered the program not knowing what to expect and just went with the flow. I had no idea that yoga encompassed so many things which were already a significant part of my life. The training has provided me with a deeper understanding of myself, my strengths and weaknesses, and my areas of improvement. I left the program with a new confidence, new tools, and a renewed sense of calm. I would recommend Yoga NH Teacher Training at Banyan Tree Yoga to anyone either wishing to become a teacher or those just exploring what yoga has to offer.”

“I recommend the YTT program for anyone and everyone! Whether your goal is to teach others or simply deepen your practice, the amount you will learn about yourself throughout the course is absolutely worth the time. This program allows you to shed existential layers of being and really uncover your true self. It allows for growth and connection, introspection, and a greater understanding of the world around us. With fantastic teachers and a great community, you build lasting relationships and ideas. It has been a life-changing experience.”

“It’s never too late in life to start something new! After 43 years of nursing, I decided that it was time for a change. After exploring various studios, I feel in love with Banyan Tree Yoga. The studio and staff are so warm and knowledgeable you feel like an old friend. Yoga quickly became my passion, and the more time I devoted to the practice, the more I realized that I wanted to teach. Now that I’ve graduated, I teach chair yoga to the elderly and those with limited mobility. If you’re curious about yoga or becoming an instructor, give Brandy.”
Roberta M. • Graduate
“I really enjoy all of the classes with the different teachers and have been impressed with how knowledgeable and open they all are at Banyan Tree Yoga. The Yoga Teacher Training program through Yoga NH with Brandy gave me the tools to let go of my fears. I learned new ways to cope with stressful situations and I learned to have faith in the universe. Upon graduation, I found my path and my calling as a Child and Family Yoga Teacher. If you are thinking about yoga or are looking to delve deeper into yourself – attend a yoga teacher training program. It won’t only make you a yoga teacher, but it will change your life.”
Lauren Y. • Graduate
“What an amazing program run by amazing teachers and just awesome human beings! I’ve learned so much more than just yoga and the asanas. I feel like I’ve been introduced to things that I probably never would have experienced if I had not joined the program, such as: the 7 Chakras and Reiki. I was also introduced to the spiritual history of the Bhagavad Gita and the Hindu Deities. All of this information was so interesting and enlightening that I now incorporate the learnings in my daily life practice. Anticipating motherhood, I feel like I’ve been given a gift of a new lifestyle approach that will only enrich my growing family.”

“I found yoga when I needed it the most in my life. Early in my practice, I learned that yoga was more than holding poses – that it is really a way of life. Yoga has become a transformative experience for me, a new understanding of the holistic connection of mind body and soul. The teaching program has solidified my understanding of yoga by immersing me in a curriculum that integrates the trifold of the human experience in a very cohesive and logical way. Through our studies of traditional yoga philosophy, asana, pranayama, meditation, mantras and yoga anatomy, I have gained a deeper understanding of this wonderful practice and I feel prepared to start teaching very soon. More importantly, I have found a tribe and a place where I belong and I feel safe.”
Jessica P. • Graduate
“The YTT program helped me understand the language of yoga beyond asana, and provided me with an opportunity to deepen my spiritual practice. I started this program not knowing what to expect and finished with many new friends, a greater sense of direction and peace in my life, and more curiosity about the yogic path than ever! I feel confidant in my ability to lead a yoga asana practice and I am grateful to all my program teachers for providing me with the tools to move forward.”
Sarah T. • Graduate
“The YTT has been a wonderful, life-changing experience. The program provides a well-rounded introduction to yoga, its historic origins, and the complementary practices that, together with asana practice, create a balanced framework from which to teach yoga or integrate it more fully into your life. Its unique coordination of classes among three studios in Nashua, Portsmouth, and Concord, has kept the content fresh and interesting, helped me focus on the areas that most strongly resonate with me, and has exposed me to a variety of teaching styles and experts in their fields. Thanks to its multiple locations, I have met students from all walks and stages of their lives, and I have been able to accommodate a busy work/life schedule while completing my required classroom time and other hours.”
Sarah P. • Graduate
“I would recommend YTT to anyone interested in becoming a yoga teacher or just to deepen their own practice. All of the program directors are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about yoga, and offer a friendly welcoming space to gain a deeper understanding of the physical and spiritual aspects of yoga.”
Nikki P. • Graduate
“I began this program because I loved yoga and wanted to do something for healthy for myself. What I did not expect was for this program to change my life in such a big way. I learned so much about myself and the world around me. I become closer with the ones I love because of this program’s teachings and have been further inspired to be a lifelong student in this beautiful world. I have nothing but positive things to say about all who were involved in teaching this program.”
Brenna A. • Graduate
“Taking the YTT program has been the best experience. I received so many gifts in the few short months of the program. The gifts of knowledge, friendship, and tremendous support. We all gravitate toward what we are meant to do, but it is of free will that we actively take the step into something new. I am so glad I had the courage to take that step. It was a game changer! I have found my yoga tribe.”
Molly B. • Graduate
“Completing this program has been an amazing journey for me and I believe the experience was made more wonderful because of the teachers. The YTT program is perfectly balanced with a little bit if everything, where you become more enlightened about the Yoga world and what it means to be a Yogi. The training has been a journey of self discovery for me with a new found love for myself and the world around me.”
Jenn D. • Graduate
“The YTT was such a wonderful experience. It is set up to fit into everyone’s schedule and the teachers and the guest teachers truly love what they do and it shows. I believe taking the course over this length of time really helps you become a yoga teacher and is a good opportunity to connect with your new found tribe.”
