Our feet are our foundation. Malfunction in any part of the foot can result in development of problems up the chain (ankles, knees, hips, and back pain), as well as abnormalities in other parts of the body can lead to issues in the feet. Proper mobility in the feet and ankles is required to execute a proper gait. The 11 muscles of the lower leg are actually foot muscles. We will use Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls to release trigger points in muscles that cause most foot, ankle and knee pain; followed by stretch, and strengthening exercises to increase mobility and stability to our feet, ankles and knees.
